A meta' strada tra nuove tendenze e arditi sogni tenuti nel lussuoso cassetto di un como' Luigi XVI c'e' il "floral backdrop", ovvero una parete floreale da creare nei luoghi chiave di un evento o di uno spazio.

L'idea semplice e folle di un muro tappezzato di centinaia e centinaia di fiori, compatto, colorato, intenso, minimale e barocco allo stesso tempo m'ha sempre lasciato senza fiato, vederlo poi realizzare da Sofia Coppola per lo spot di Miss Dior all'inizio di quest'anno e' stato assolutamente folgorante - ormai e' certo, questa donna vive nella mia testa :)

Da li' le campagne pubblicitarie moda si sono riempite di fiori e background floreali, riflettendo e rafforzando il gusto per il "totally flowered" in molti altri campi.

Le varianti spaziano da sipari di ghirlande fiorite a retroscena con fiori di carta, ma il vero lusso e l'assoluto must se si vuole realizzare il sogno fino in fondo e' una cascata di fiori veri - per farvi un'idea andate a vedere l'eccezionale lavoro di Rebecca Louise Law in occasione della pre-fall collection dinner di Jimmy Choo presso Clifton Nurseries.
